Jeff, Me, Mom and Grandpa George at the Great Salt Lake
This Labor Day weekend my mom, Jeff and I headed to Spanish Fork, Utah. It was so great to visit the place that I was born, but had not visited since I was 5 (and of course barely remembered any of it!).
I had a really great time seeing all my aunts, uncles and cousins (most of the cousins I have never met before).
We visited the Great Salt Lake (pictured above), up to Midway for the Swiss Days Festival, drove through American Fork (the city that my great grandfather settled with permission of Brigham Young, there is a statue of my great grandfather there) and Park City where Jeff and I raced down the mountain on the Alpine Slide.
